Country View 5K

Last Friday Theron, Drake, Isabella, and myself ran/walked a 5K for the kids school. We did it last year too, but this year the weather was perfect (65degrees compared to 90degrees last year) so it was a lot more fun! Isabella came in first in her division finishing in 32 min, and Drake came in 9th in his division finishing in 35 min. Theron was scared he was going to have a heart attack since he can't remember the last time he exercised, but still managed to beat me coming in at 41min with myself finishing in 46 min. Yes, our kids kicked our booty. I'd have to say, though, I didn't break a sweat, I chatted with my friend Karen the whole time, I had worked out already that morning, and wasn't tired or sore after the race. That's enough excuses right???

Anyway, at the end of the race they had drinks and six massage tables set up for all of the racers. There were also lots of prizes...enough for everyone to win one...it's a great tradition the school has...my family loves it (well, maybe everyone except for Theron)!
